Experimenting with Depth of Field
I think what went well was making it look brighter. I used Camera Raw Filter to make it look brighter and more vibrant. My aperture was set at 4. I would say that it is a shallow depth of field.

My Image that was probably the most unsuccessful was the first one. the background wasn't blurred.
